Moved by art....

 

I had to take a picture of this small piece crafted by Rodin, even though it doesn't do the piece justice. It is the piece of artwork which has moved me the most in my life? Why? I have been that woman, I have been in that caress, I have been there in that love that is so amazing and yet so painful. My first time in Paris, I came across it, small, hanging alone next to a doorway. Quiet, almost forgotten. But, it was something I couldn't. I remembered it vividly. And when I went back, it still held the same emotions, the same power. I guess that is what good art is....
